Job Summary:  provide a combination of clerical, secretarial, and administrative support to assigned departments and/or programs and to manage office services by coordinating office operations and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency for Peach County Public Works and Peach County Planning & Zoning.  Employees in this classification are typically assigned to cover multiple departments or larger, more complex departments, and are likely to function as lead in the management of all administrative and office functions for the department(s).

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with additional college-level course work or vocational training in public relations, business administration, public administration or a related field; associate degree in a related administrative or business field preferred; supplemented by minimum three (3) years of previous administrative/clerical experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Full-time position, with medical, vision, dental, and short-term disability.
