The Area Agency on Aging (AAA), a division of the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, is holding a series of public meetings:
- Thursday, February 2, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at the Twiggs County Senior Center, 400 Bullard Road, Jeffersonville, GA 31044.
- Wednesday, February 8, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at the Baldwin County Senior Center, 290 Linda Drive, Milledgeville, GA 31061.
- Friday, February 10, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at the Monroe County Senior Center, 515 Highway 83 South, Forsyth, GA 31029.
Older adults, caregivers, community members, and organizations interested in learning more about aging services, are encouraged to attend. It is an opportunity to inform the AAA and the Georgia Division of Aging Services of gaps in service delivery and suggestions for improvement.
The AAA welcomes written comments on aging services, which must be postmarked within five days of the scheduled meeting date, to the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, Area Agency on Aging, ATTENTION: Cuirstaun Echols, Contracts Administrator, 175 Emery Highway, Suite C, Macon, GA 31217.
Individuals requiring a sign language interpreter must contact the AAA at 478-751-6466 at least five days prior to the event date or communicate by email at cechols@mg-rc.org.
