The Middle Georgia Regional Commission (MGRC) Area Agency on Aging (AAA) hosted its annual Senior Day Expo, which continues to be one of the most anticipated events of the year for the seniors of the Middle Georgia. Being that today’s seniors are more educated and active than ever, AAA’s Senior Expo strived to provide valuable information, new opportunities that interest today's seniors as well as interactive, fun and interesting hands on activities.

In addition to information and opportunities, participants were granted with a chance to warm up their body and soul with Tai Chi exercises and Zumba as well as  relaxing to live music entertainment provided by the Macon Harmony Quartet. Following lunch provided by Middle Flint Council on Aging, all were ready for more fun, games, and socialization.

The Expo was a huge success with more than 782 attending Middle Georgia seniors, which also featured 46 local and non-local community service providers that provided valuable information on medical services, retirement opportunities, wellness, a multitude of prizes and more.
